ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Continuing with my series on the night sky, I made this painting titled 'Nebula'. Around 2012-13,I started working with buttons and needle and thread on canvas. This brought a texture into my work. I have always been inspired by great artists like Andy Warhol and the impressionists. Just experimenting with materials and techniques lead me to this type of work. This falls under the category of textile art and I received a lot of appreciation for this type of paintings when it was exhibited in New Delhi united art fair.I hope the viewers would interpret in their own way.
