ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Video - https://youtu.be/IqEoMZE5fzM During a performance for the opening of the solo exhibition "Large Body Of Water" at Retramp Gallery, Berlin 2019, a 200x500cm cotton canvas with two different blue gradients was ripped apart and then stapled back together. Whilst this was happening musician Kat Austen made sound with circuit bent devices that measure various properties of water such as pH. A few months later the work was sewn together in the studio. Acrylic on cotton with thread and wood pole. Please note that because of shipping length restrictions the pole cannot be sent, however is is straight froward an inexpensive to get one from a hardware store.
