Submissive behavior means shying away from saying what person really means and not seeking to achieve your needs, particularly when someone else have conflicting needs. There are some people who hide their feelings and emotions from outer world. They are shielding themselves from people who try to come closer to them. They are surrounded by their own perception and assumptions. Not everyone but some people are victim of this human psyche. Closed windows are sign of her protective behavior towards herself.
