Jozef Fodor aka AC-one belongs to a young generation of the "contemporary" artists. He was born in Bratislava in 1983. As a child he spent a lot of time in a housing estate where he started noticing the emerging street art (graffiti and tags) and when he was 12 he created his first pseudonym under which he began to create. Graffiti became the first and main engine of his artistic creation. Over time, a need to give his works a deeper idea started to manifest. He began to devote more time to art literature, spent a lot of time in libraries where he wanted to improve and learn. Back then a not so famous street art artist BANKSY became his great role model. In order to capitalize on and satisfy his creativity he began to study architecture at university. However, after three years of unfulfilled ideas he dropped out and began to build his career on his hobby. At that time he began to paint on canvas and slowly began to sell his art to his first customers. However, he remained loyal to street art and graffiti as evidenced by his participation in one of the biggest street art events in Slovakia. He also participated in the first and the second year of the BRATISLAVA Street ART festival, which opens the Bratislava Cultural Summer. His works also caught the attention of young artists from the Academy od Fine Arts, who introduced him as a guest at the Amores Perros show at the European centre for Fine Arts (Aircraft Gallery) in Bratislava in November 2011. Another opportunity came soon after that. At the beginning of 2012 he exhibited again with several young artists at the Painting Artshow held at the M + + gallery on a boat anchored at the Danube river waterfront. Thanks to exhibiting his works on a foreign art website a new French gallery Subart took a notice of him and so three of his works travelled to Paris. His works are diverse; you can find there many techniques, bases and styles. However, the one thing he is trying to achieve is to give his works a deeper meaning and atmosphere.
