ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I have made this mask to overcome the fixed gaze of a traditional mask, for example woodenmade African Masks. I tried to give it a vitality and a special character. The mask is braided and it is made out of palm rope and there are no holes for looking through with eyes. It is a complete face of may be of a friendly ghost or anything else. Only the viewer gives the mask their special attributes and story.
