Contact us.Bruno Sciaraffia is an Italian painter and digital artist whose artistic practice spans more than five decades.
His visual language draws from Cubism and Futurism while evolving into a personal approach he defines as “Interrelationism” (Interrelazionismo): a language in which intersecting lines and fragmented forms do not isolate figures, but connect them.
At the heart of Sciaraffia's work is the human experience. Figures, musicians, dancers, artisans and scenes of everyday life become a means of exploring movement, identity, emotion and the existential dimension of contemporary life. Geometric structures fragment visible reality while preserving the human presence at its centre.
Originally rooted in traditional painting and particularly oil on canvas, Sciaraffia has progressively extended his practice into digital art, embracing new techniques while continuing the visual research that has accompanied his work throughout his career. As he describes his practice, “Painting is my way of translating what I see into fragments, transforming the visible into an inner language.”
His work has been discussed by critics Gino Traversi and Tommaso Biondi, whose writings have highlighted the geometric, human and existential dimensions of his artistic research.
Sciaraffia has exhibited since the early 1970s and has received recognition in Italian exhibitions and art competitions. His works are held in private collections in Italy, the United Kingdom, Spain and the United States.
