About The Artwork

The Earthslide Series was begun in 1980 when I was ill and could not use paint, After a year of doing these drawings, I had a show of 30 of them at Albright-Knox Gallery in Buffalo, New York. The Earthslide Series reflects the movement of the Earth and also my emotional turmoil or calm. Lately they have become Large Scale which I began for my show at Quidley and Co Fine Art in Naples, Florida, They have also begun to be quieter and more minimal reflecting the peace I feel as I work in my sky-lit Studio,
