It was interesting to see life in such a village surrounded by a family that accepted us. Women are not hastily going about their household chores, each time passing by us stopping and looking at the work, talking quietly to each other, men are talking, treating them to tea and coffee, children are quietly playing around, looking at us with curious and sparkling eyes. And now the moment comes for the guests to arrive and everyone, young and old, prepares the place, spreading carpets in front of the house and placing large trays of treats on them, sincerely rejoicing.

Hi! I am a visual artist and painter Alexandra Ilyayev. I was born in USSR in 1976. In 1995, I immigrated to Israel where I continued my art studies at the “Avni Institute of Art” in Tel-Aviv. My artworks are exhibited in many private collections in Israel ,Russia and USA. My large murals can be found in several public buildings in Israel, and exhibitions have had considerable success with the public. Moreover, I participated in some international art symposiums and plein airs.
