Eva Breitfuss is a contemporary abstract artist whose work explores presence, perception, and the subtle structures underlying our experience of reality. Through a refined visual language of lines, circles, and layered fields, she creates compositions that balance precision with intuition. Her paintings invite the viewer into a quiet, contemplative space—where movement, energy, and stillness coexist. Working primarily with acrylic, pastel, and mixed media, Breitfuss develops surfaces that reveal depth through reduction. Repetition, variation, and minimal gestures become tools to express complexity without excess. Her works have been exhibited internationally and are held in private collections across Europe and beyond. Each piece is conceived as an autonomous field of presence—designed not only to be seen, but to be experienced over time. Artist Statement My work is rooted in the idea of presence—what remains when we reduce visual information to its essential elements. I am interested in the tension between structure and openness, between control and emergence. Lines, circles, and repetitive marks become a way to map invisible processes: movement, connection, and the flow of attention. By working with restrained color palettes as well as moments of intensity—such as fluorescent tones—I explore how perception shifts through contrast and rhythm. The compositions are not meant to impose meaning, but to create a space in which the viewer can slow down and experience a subtle sense of balance and awareness. In this way, each work functions as a visual field—quiet, yet active—bringing a sense of calm clarity into the surrounding space. __The artworks integrate seamlessly into modern and minimalist interiors, adding a calm yet distinctive presence to the space.__
