Toni Woodring
I am an abstract painter working primarily with acrylic on canvas. My work explores movement as a quiet, continuous presence rather than a dramatic event. Through repeated diagonal gestures and shifting color relationships, I focus on emotional rhythm, balance, and restraint.
I approach painting as an ongoing practice rather than a search for singular moments. Many of my works exist as part of a developing series, allowing ideas to evolve gradually over time. Each piece represents a moment within a longer flow — distinct, but connected.
I am interested in creating work that invites sustained looking and reflection, offering space for calm, presence, and subtle emotional response.
