About The Artwork

Wood has such a similar ripple to that of water, liquid grain is mesmerizing. This piece was inspired by the water like shapes that wood has which then turned into a fluid golden reflective waterscape, imagining the sun close to the horizon with purple, blue and reds in the sky reflecting in the calm ripples of golden water. the 3D lines trace the real wood grain underneath while the paint combines the watery fluidity.
