Francesco is a Tuscan artist, born in 1983. From an early age, art has been his most natural language, shaped by the influence of his grandfather, a passionate collector who encouraged him to cultivate a free and personal vision, far from academic conventions. Following his advice, Francesco deliberately chose not to pursue a traditional artistic education, embracing an independent path untouched by formal schooling, while still being exposed to internationally renowned artists through his family environment. Painting has always been part of his life, yet for many years he worked in silence, hidden behind different identities. A severe physical injury, occurring during one of the most difficult periods of his life, became a decisive turning point. In that moment, art ceased to be only expression and became a vital necessity: a form of quiet healing, a means of survival. Since then, painting has become his way of confronting the present, restoring balance, and transforming inner chaos into vision. His works emerge as raw flows of thought and emotion: intimate, uncompromising, and profoundly authentic. His practice is primarily developed through two major conceptual series. “Inciso” In this body of work, matter becomes dense and sharp, unfolding into a conceptual and violent narrative. Inciso originates from an introspective investigation, an exploration of the deepest self, driven by the desire to reveal one’s true essence and return to a form of primordial purity. The act of incision is not destructive, but revelatory. It exposes what lies beneath, removing the layers of armor built over time. The artwork reaches completion at the moment when inner truth breaks through external masks, revealing the raw beauty of being fully oneself. “Hidden Words” A conceptual series in which each written word is a fragment of the artist: an unspoken thought, a private scream. These sentences are never meant to be read. They are uncomfortable truths, intimate, violent, fragile, destined to be concealed and buried beneath layers of paint, as if masking them were the only way to grant them existence. Here, color becomes skin, barrier, and cure. Beneath the surface remains the pulse of thought, the vibration of what is left unsaid. The viewer cannot decipher the words, but can perceive their presence: a silent dialogue between what is shown and what is hidden.
