► This is one of my « Pure Soul » series, in which I reflect on the world's problems through the eyes of these children. Through the eyes of children, the world reveals itself in all its complexity and fragility. Their pure and innocent gazes capture not only beauty but also the challenges our planet faces. ► On the technical side, for me, whether it's digital or traditional tools, the basic requirements for an artist are the same: Anatomy, Perspective, Colour theory, Research into style etc, and these determine the technical value of a painting, because for an artist, it either depends on their talents or their years of practice. I just want to prove that digital art not only has its place within the traditional fine art domain but also has its contemporary digital attraction. ► each painting has been 100% conceived and created by a human being. Yeduo Voiturin was born in Shanghai in 1979, is a Franco-Chinese artist and currently lives in Lyon, France. After graduating in visual communication in China and DNSEP in design (Diplôme National Supérieur d'Expression Plastique) in France, she worked for 10 years as a designer and product manager. In 2022, she officially began her artistic career as a freelance artist and illustrator. Using both traditional and digital tools (No AI), she specializes in creating portraits and narratives to translate the mood, light and emotion of the subject's moment through her styles of modern realism, impressionism and expressionism. Influenced from an early age by her parents, who worked in art and design, then by studies and inspiration from occidental and Asian cultures. Portrait or narrative art has always fascinated her, as it is a powerful means of establishing human and societal links through her paintings, which familiarize us either with the feelings or the metaphors and stories behind them, and which will resonate with us. Through these paintings, she simply wishes to reveal different faces of the world and its stories, real or metaphorical, to take the viewer's mind on a journey. As Paulo Coelho aptly describes, "We can have all the means of communication in the world, but nothing, absolutely nothing, replaces the human gaze."
