This piece is part of a series of collage works on paper using paper cutouts from my Folded Female sculptural series; depicting the Female body in movement. This reuse of materials inspires a new composition using the cut-out shapes of the female body in creating the figurative landscape. Drawing upon the Japanese concept of wabi-sabi, the art of finding beauty in the imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete. Best if this piece could be framed so as to view it from both sides.
