I have got interested in working on silk, a  material that embodies the very idea of transformation, so reflecting what I want to express with my work: all is flux, nothing stays still, nothing is permanent except change (Heraclitus, "Panta Rei").
Although not a new concept, I feel this idea still applies to the fast moving world we all live in. This is why I have started making silk "WINGS", by stretching and modelling silk cocoons, to obtain silk foils of different shape and size, hung, in group or individually and floating free in the air,  so that even the lightest air drought makes them moving, giving observers an impression of their being alive.
