Lauryna Narkevičiūtė is a new media visual artist. Her creations intertwine the physical and digital realms, materializing as three-dimensional art pieces. She delves into the relationship between technology and society, contemplating technology's effect on human experience and cognition. By bridging the divide between the tangible and the virtual, her work navigates the blurred boundaries of these interconnected worlds. In this era of rapid digital advancement, Lauryna explores and responds to the complexities and challenges that arise. Her art initiates a dialogue that balances the dichotomy of desire and anxiety, progress and destruction, reflecting the multifaceted aspects of our increasingly digital existence. Beyond her solo projects, her practice reflects an active collaboration with various professionals, including composers, performers, programmers, researchers, and other creators. Her practice includes digital art, audiovisual projects, installations, and art prints. Lauryna started her art practice at the Vilnius Academy of Arts in 2010, where she studied Photography and Media Arts. Over time, her interest in photography expanded her creative approach to visual design, three-dimensional art, and installation art.
