ABOUT THE ARTWORK
My favorite seasons are autumn and winter, but spring is too colorful for me to ignore. Each year I make pieces that respond to nature in one way or another. Some years they are dances, some years videos, and some years drawings. This year, the fall was long and rainy, and the drought over the summer meant that the change of season was not as colorful as it has been. Nevertheless, I enjoyed discovering small variations in the shades of brown and orange. These works are not directly from observation, but from the memory of my impression of them.
