Contact us.Elisavet Christodoulou was born in 1992 in Nicosia, Cyprus. She showed an early interest in art and in 2016, she received her BA(Hons) in Fine Art - Painting Degree from Gray’s School of Art, Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, Scotland. She works primarily with oil paints, but she also likes to create handmade sculptures without the use of a mould to make each piece unique and individual.
Elisavet was selected among the best of new talent from Scotland’s five art colleges and schools of architecture to exhibit her work for the “Royal Scottish Academy of Art (RSA) New Contemporaries 2017”, Edinburgh, Scotland. While she was in Scotland, she also exhibited at “Edinburgh Palette” based in St Margaret’s House, Edinburgh and at “Compass Gallery” in Glasgow.
On returning to Cyprus, she initially continued to create work on the subject of her final degree, which encourages a critical response to war. She now creates work inspired by nature, aiming to draw attention to the fragile, often overlooked beauty of coastal environments and to invite viewers to pause, reflect, and reconnect with the natural world.
