This painting brings together the themes I return to again and again: flowers, softness, and a quiet sense of wonder. A fluffy white cat rests as if on warm snow, surrounded by gentle blossoms, their scent almost present in the air. Sunlight catches on floating soap bubbles, turning them into small,...

Contact us.About me begins where my paintings begin — not as a summary of facts.
This is where I stop trying to sound reasonable and let the real thinking show. :)
For years I painted in a realistic style – nature, flowers, sometimes animals. I could spend hours with a single detail, shaping it until it looked almost alive. That is my joy – when a painting felt so real you could almost step into the meadow or breathe in the scent of apple blossoms.
Over time I began to notice fleeting sensations – subtle impressions that appeared for a moment and then faded before I could hold on to them. They revealed themselves in the soft transitions of color, where one tone quietly dissolved into another, creating depth and form.
Gradually I began to feel that strictly realistic painting no longer gave me the same fulfillment. More and more, I found myself longing to capture that elusive sensation – the feeling of colors blending.
Have you ever studied the clear sky at sunset? The shades – pink, yellow, greenish, soft blue… Where does each begin, and where does it end as it melts into the next? Where is the last of rose and the first of orange? Where is the boundary where yellow meets turquoise?
It does not exist.
The human mind is used to dividing everything into line segments – giving them a beginning and an end. Yet you look at the sky and wonder – how is it possible that a tone has neither a beginning nor an end? By the logic of this world, can anything exist without a beginning?
Or the question is: how can something end without ending?
And yet – it simply is.
I have been longing to capture these moments on canvas – in all their variety. With soft, imperceptible transitions of forms and tones. Sometimes it still feels almost impossible to bring what I sense into reality, in a world where the mind is limited to just a few dimensions.
And in such moments at the canvas, I often feel like Jennifer Lawrence with her iconic phrase at the Oscars:
“What do I do? I… what?” :)
I am still only on my way with this.
And with every step, I go deeper and deeper.
