John Dobbie was born and raised in Canada and is a Classical Animation graduate of Sheridan College. After finishing school and doing some travelling, he landed a job in the videogame industry which he has since been working in for over 20 years. Starting his career as a digital environment artist, his job brought him to the Los Angeles where he worked on some of the biggest franchises in the industry including Call of Duty, Tony Hawk, and God of War. During this time, he also met his wife, became a father as well as a US citizen. John and his family now call the Capital Region in New York their home. This is where he has been finally able to create art for himself that he hopes other people will be able to enjoy without having to use a game controller.
