"Rebirth" Sculpture

Mykola Kaftan's sculptural work is a dialog between material and sensations. The author is infinitely fascinated by the world of fauna. The animals in his sculptures are not just images, but a captured moment of their existence. They seem to be frozen in time, frozen only for a moment before making the next movement. The tilt of the head, the fluttering mane, the curve of the body, the tension of the muscles, as if the animal is about to jump off the spot - these are not just static images, they are bundles of energy, they are stories that want to be heard.
