Each of us carries scars, cracks, breaks in the course of our life. Some more, some less, some more visible and some less. Who almost flaunts them with pride and who shows them timidly ... Who elaborate them and come out more aware, more authentic, more gritty, who instead linger or simply is not yet ready to grasp that little dim light that you see if you look carefully. Certain is that ruptures bring pain and pain brings transformation. Pain understood as a possibility of change, the opportunity to change course, to search, to rediscover ourselves, to break the patterns that we have given ourselves, that others have given us ... The scars that accompany us are our "signal" that reminds us that everything, every obstacle can be overcome by trusting in our strength that resides in each of us. And everything becomes possible. And I RISE. I manipulated the black iron that I used as a base and as a technique I used collage and mixed media using acrylics and pencils.
