This original pen drawing is a visceral study of the human journey, captured during the rhythmic, repetitive motion of a daily commute. Inspired by the physical sensation of transit—the jarring vibrations and the rapid flickering of light—the work uses aggressive, layered cross-hatching to suggest f...

Contact us.I would like to convey to the world that these artworks are more than paintings; they are vessels of consciousness, reflecting socio-political currents through the subtle language of material culture. These designs evokes a dynamic interplay between emotion and logic, with careful attention to materials. Across her oeuvre, Victoire communicates the unspoken dimensions of the subconscious, fragmenting forms into multiple counterparts and negotiating the fragile balance between control and organic expression. Her artistry is a delicate negotiation between structure and fluidity, tradition and innovation, material and imagination. Through abstraction, he probes the infinite—space, time, eternity, and creation—inviting the viewer into a dialogue with the intangible.
Art incorporates a sense of energy and dynamism. There is a sense of balance, stability, and movement through her use of brushstrokes, and this is highlighted through two central themes the "human" and "universe”. There are certain elements where the paint morphs in distinct ways as it moves away from the central frame. Her paintings are influenced by movements such as suprematism, neoplasticism, and abstract expressionism. She creates the question of the space-time continuum, eternity, and creation through abstraction. Through her artworks she conveys a sense of self-expression and the subconsciousness.
Rather than relying on conventional motifs, she draws from the quasi-figurative landscapes of Kandinsky and the mystical monochromes of Malevich, echoing the theoretical insights of Clement Greenberg that shaped the abstract art movement. Yet her work is uniquely her own—a meditation on impermanence, memory, and the metaphysical possibilities of material form.
Two quotes capture the essence of her style.
French philosopher Simone de Beauvoir wrote, “The Imperial Palace does not have a restored look, nor has it an ancient one: this hesitation makes it appear not eternal but precarious and like an imitation of itself,” describing the Forbidden City in her travel memoir The Long March (1957). This idea resonates in Victoire's work, which balances the ephemeral and the eternal in its form. In her work, this same tension between temporality and permanence is woven into every detail.
Poet Charlotte Geier states, “A masterpiece is still a masterpiece even when the lights are off and the room is empty.
