This work explores the organic structure and flowing geometry of a natural form through a minimal palette and soft contrasts. I was particularly interested in studying the shell’s spiral construction, subtle curves, and layered surface while maintaining a lightness. The drawing was created with pas...

I am a painter and illustrator from Krasnodar, a southern city in Russia, and I am currently based in Thailand. My visual language has been shaped by movement between places, climates and everyday environments — from warm childhood summers spent at my grandmother’s house in a nearby town, to the botanical richness, markets and street life of the countries I have lived in and travelled through.
I work primarily with soft pastel, watercolor and digital media, creating botanical studies, floral compositions, still lifes and observational sketches inspired by nature and the quiet beauty of everyday life. I am especially drawn to the way light falls on objects, how color shifts in shadow, and how texture can make a subject feel more alive and tactile.
Color relationships, atmosphere, texture and composition are central to my practice. I love materials that allow me to feel physically connected to the process — the velvety softness of pastel, the transparency and fluid layering of watercolor, and the flexibility of digital drawing, which lets me continue creating wherever I am.
For me, painting is a way to slow down perception and deepen my connection with a subject. Whether I am working from observation, photography or a carefully arranged setup, I use painting as a way to study, preserve and emotionally extend a moment — to stay with a color, a shape, a texture, or a fleeting feeling for longer.
I find inspiration in plants, seasonal change, markets, cafés, interiors, travel, botanical illustration and the visual contrasts between the places I have called home. My current focus is on developing original pastel works and atmospheric still lifes that bring warmth, sensitivity and presence into contemporary interiors.
