This painting is inspired from the first time in my life that I saw an elephant in a circus. At that time, I was a little girl and I was amazed by this enormous, kind and lovable animal. At that time also I wasn't aware of the cruel and harsh conditions of his captivity. Now I am glad that there aren't any circuses left because I believe that every wild animal should be free in nature. With this painting I hope the viewers will feel the warmth of this childhood memory or to remember their childhood.
