ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This work is a collage. It is composed of three different elements. The starting point was the figure standing on the shore, looking over the lake. Another figure on the left side can be seen. The legs seem to come out of the water. She looks down thoughtfully and has her hands in her pockets. Interesting is the sitting man, who together with his dog on a footbridge protruding into the water. He seems to be an angler and also hangs on his thoughts. This angler motif comes from a painting by a French painter from the 19th century. The mood of this painting had inspired me to put the figure in my work.
